paris fashion week 2016: spring/summer rtw 2017

1-6: Valentino perfection. I love love LOVED this show. It was gorgeous and Pierpaolo Piccioli's first solo show for the house and WOW. What an entrance. I think my favorite part about Valentino was the mix of maximal (is that a word) and minimal. Like looks 1-4 are very feminine with lots of embellishment and 5-6 could be from a different show, but all six are equally gorgeous.
7: One last gorgeous Valentino to drool over. 8-10: Capes, turtlenecks and sneakers at Celine. Always a favorite.
11-12: Balenciaga military coat and puffer vest.
13-14: Balenciaga utility vest and peplum blouse. 15: APC ruffled blouse.
16: APC leather dress. 17-18: Mugler metallics
19-20: Chalayan summer whites. 21: Shimmers at Balmain.
22-23: Olive green at Balmain. 24: Pretty ballerina dress at Dior.
25: This sleek b&w and all the little topknots at Dior. 26-27: Kimonos, chunky sandals and space glasses at Yohji Yamamoto
28: This mint green Fenty sweatshirt. 29-30: Doily dress and this totally wearable blouse and midi skirt at Chloe.
30-33: Dries Van Noten floral silk, sack dress, bomber jacket and all the shades.
34: Incredible Saint Laurent metallic dress. 35-39: Louis Vuitton jackets, sweatshirts and how cute is Nicolas Ghesquiere!?
40-43: Playful swimsuits, prints, girly collars, wedge sandals and slides at Miu Miu
44-49: Ruffled floral dresses and the dreamiest floral nude gowns at Alexander McQueen. Alicia V. please wear 46 to the Oscars?
50-53: Chanel robots and sideways baseball caps. Also paint splatter tweed, denim jacket nude legging look and all ruffle blouse.

london & milan fashion weeks 2016: spring/summer rtw 2017

Another fashion month has come and gone. Someday I will be bringing you these thoughts and opinions live from the front row but until then, these were my highlights from London and Milan :)
1-2: Victorian af at Erdem  3-4: Metallic pleats and effing CROCS at Christopher Kane. I am not onboard with the Crocs but I said that about Birkenstocks and Tevas sooo...
5-7: Burberry drapey trench, the floral pajama shirt of my dreams and a cream turtleneck that is marshmallow and snowman and everything I want in a sweater
8-9: This patterned dress and matching pointy toe flats and perfect black and white gown/shorts at Alberta Ferretti. Also I'm always stoked when I see flats on the runway because it's like don't worry!! These are chic too!!!
10-13: Prada sporty Formula One jacket, this insane Chinese pajama set and prettiest feathers/nakey dress combo
14-15: Sleek lines at Bottega Veneta 16-24: Jil Sander omg.
Jil was my favorite show in Milan. I loved the exaggerated silhouettes, ruching and the soft pastels.
It was modern and beautiful and just so lovely to me.
25-27: Marni accessories, color palette, shoes, fanny packs, everything
Like these giant fanny packs? Give me. The pointy mules? Need. The giant totes? Yes. Marni actually reminded me a lot Jil Sander which is probably why I loved both so much. I know, I know, pastels in the spring- how revolutionary. But truly these two collections were stand-outs for me in Milan.
28-33: 70's explosion at Gucci. The zebra fur coat was my favorite look of the show but honestly every piece was so ornate and incredibly detailed, it was hard to not post all 75.
